For hearing-care providers of every size

Patients arrive focused on the price. They leave knowing the value.

OViz is a consult aid for hearing clinics. It turns the audiogram you just measured into six pictures of the patient's own listening day — five to seven minutes chairside, then home under your brand. The fee stops needing a defence.

The problem, in your words

You spent the hour doing exactly the right thing. They compared the price.

The patient isn't doubting your value. They never saw it. An audiogram is a chart they can't read; a price is a number they can. So the price stands in for the value — and an hour of expertise disappears into it.

“An hour of testing, a careful fitting, a fair fee — then a relative sends them a $1,500 hearing aid they saw online, and the question is what the extra was for.”
Heard in every hearing clinic, from one chair to a hundred — usually as “Other places do it for free.” By then the explanation has already lost.
“The price they saw buys the device. It doesn't buy the clinician — and that's the part you can't put in a display case.”
The answer every good clinician gives — and it's a sentence. It leaves the room when the patient does. OViz turns it into something they take home.
The Data Gap: a patient watches politely, unmoved, while a clinician points a pen at a printed table of audiogram numbers. The OViz Moment: the same two people laugh together at a laptop showing a speech-sounds chart — with hearing aids, 7 of 9 speech sounds come within reach.

Brain Hearing: a patient frowns at a dense printed handout of ear anatomy. The OViz Moment: she smiles as a clinician points at the OViz Sound Pathway on screen, one ear blocked beside a healthy one.

Where the hour goes

Save 8–10 hours a week, per clinician.

The explaining that used to run 30–60 minutes happens on screen, with the patient looking at their own numbers.

*Projection from tester timings and published consult-duration data (Grenness et al., 2015, JAAA). Assumes 12–20 initial consults a week. Your results will vary with caseload and case mix.

Their priorities, ranked. The plan starts there.

Sound Pathway

Where the signal stops on its way to the brain.

How it works

From the results you already have to a decision — in one visit.

01

Measure

Enter the PTA and word-recognition scores you already took. Nothing new to test.

02

Show

Walk the six visuals with the patient. You lead; OViz never recommends.

03

Send

A plain-language report in your clinic's name goes home with them — and their partner.

Built by a clinic owner

"I watched excellent clinicians spend an hour or more doing exactly the right things, then get asked why it cost so much. That was never a pricing problem. It was a value problem — the patient couldn't see what the hour held. And it's the same in every clinic, whatever its size."

Who it's for

Every chair where a patient looks at a price.

The setting changes. The problem doesn't. One room or three hundred locations — under your brand, to your standard.

One standard — the same consult in every chair. The consult a patient gets should not depend on which clinician had the room that day. With OViz, every clinician walks the same six visuals and sends the same take-home report, so the consult a patient gets is your brand's consult — not a matter of who was in the room, or which of your locations they walked into.

Independent clinics

One to three chairs. Charge for the assessment and hand over the proof.

Multi-location groups

Five clinics, five personalities. One consult standard across all of them.

National chains

Your brand on every screen and report. Rollout by region, roles per location.

Big-box and retail hearing centres

High volume, short appointments. A consult that fits the slot and lifts the conversation above price.

ENT and hospital audiology

Supplier-neutral by design. Educational visuals beside the chart, never in place of it.

Manufacturer-owned networks

The visuals never name a product — yours or anyone else's. The counselling stays clinical.

The questions clinicians and operators ask first.

We run a chain, a big-box hearing centre or a hospital department. Can OViz be customised for us?

Yes. Enterprise deployments are configured with you: your branding on every screen and report, your locations and roles, your consult standard applied in every chair, and your data kept to your organisation. The six visuals, the clinical model and the supplier-neutral boundary stay the same everywhere — that is the point. Custom assessment sequences and report ordering are scoped per deployment. Start the conversation.

Will patients really pay a fee once they've seen this?

Clinics that charge for assessment already know patients will pay — the hard part is doing the convincing out loud, one patient at a time. OViz puts the value on the screen so the fee explains itself. You keep charging for the test, the fitting and the follow-up; you stop defending the charge.

Is a 5–7 minute consult realistic?

Five to seven minutes is the OViz pass: results in, six visuals walked with the patient, report sent. Tester sessions timed the tool itself at 4:23. The conversation around it is yours to lead — it simply stops running to an hour because the patient is looking at their own results instead of taking your word for it.

Will this make me look like I'm running a sales tool?

No. Patients see a regulated health professional showing them their own results — which is exactly what you are doing. Four boundaries hold in every chair:

    • Never diagnosesEducational illustrations, labelled as such.
    • Never gives adviceNo product, fitting or next step.
    • Never names a manufacturerSupplier-neutral in the consult and the report.
    • Not an EMRA consult aid beside your chart, not a replacement.
Is OViz an EMR, and how is patient data handled?

OViz is not an EMR and does not replace the audiogram. It is a consult aid: you enter the pure-tone averages and word-recognition scores you already measured, and the patient conversation and a take-home report come out. It does not hold your full chart. What it does hold is private by design: consult data stays with your clinic, and the subprocessors involved are listed on the privacy page.

Your next patient is going to ask about the price. Show them what it bought.

One clinic sets up in an afternoon. A network is configured with us. Either way, the first consult on a colleague takes under five minutes.
